December 21, 2012 – Stevens Point, WI – WISCAP member agency CAP Services, serving Marquette, Outagamie, Portage, Waupaca and Waushara counties, has been awarded a $1,500 grant from US Bank to support its Skills Enhancement Program.
December 13, 2012 – Stevens Point, WI – WISCAP member agency CAP Services, Inc. has been awarded a $7,500 grant from BMO Harris Bank. The grant is for the CAP Services Skills Enhancement Program, which serves those in Outagamie, Portage, Waupaca and Waushara counties.
December 6, 1012 – Ladysmith, WI – Indianhead Community Action Agency (ICAA) announced that Brett Gerber has resigned as Executive Director to become President of Impact Seven. Gerber has served a dual role with ICAA and Impact Seven since December 2011; he will continue in those roles until a new ICAA has been hired and will assist in the transition. Continue reading

December 5, 2012 – Congratulations to WISCAP member agency Couleecap, Inc. for its Community First Partnership Award. Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago has awarded $5,000 to the Quad County Lenders Consortium, which includes Couleecap, Inc., for its collaboration with State Bank Financial. The award is in recognition of their 14-year partnership, in which they provide down-payment assistance to first-time homebuyers, rehab and weatherization assistance to homeowners, and created Wisconsin’s first rural community land trust.
