A public briefing/public hearing on the bill SB467/AB508 was held on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the State Capitol. In addition to WISCAP and numerous local Community Action Agencies from across the state, the briefing featured testimony of the Wisconsin Council on Churches, the Institute for Research on Poverty, the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 7, the Tenant Resource Council, housing and homeless advocates, and specialized transportation groups.
